This week at Blueprint, our pastor is Ms. Becky, who is teaching about the sermon on the Mount. We will have chapel once a day and a devotional.
Our homeowner is Ms. Gabby, who works around the neighborhood helping with maintenance. Her house needs a lot of work. Our intern, Wesley, has been working on it for two weeks, doing siding and other roof sections.
Today, we worked well together in our different roles, making sure that we were safe and efficient. We deshingled the roof and removed the old tar paper. Almost the entire roof was warped and rotted, making it hard to work on, but we finished around 3:00 and tarped the roof for the day. Tomorrow, we will start reinforcing the roof with new wood.
